please see the below guidance for ANZAC Day Dawn Service base access for the attendance of personnel who do not have base access cards. This has been endorsed by the SADFO:

All gates will be open from 0400 h – 0930 h.

All units are to confirm attendance of any guests (Unit Associations) or other that will require base access for the ANZAC Day Dawn Services 2019. The following guidelines will be in place:

1. All guests must be escorted whilst at your unit locations.
2. All guests must be on a unit list that will be held at the key entry points to the barracks.
3. All guests must have a form of ID such as drivers licence.

Traffic management - units are responsible for the direction of visitors to the parking areas within their units.

All units requesting base access for members without a base access card are to compile a visitor register and send it to the Base Management Teambasemanagement.lavarackbarracks@defence.gov.au by Friday 19 Apr 19. Should there be any additions after Friday 19 Apr 19 an amended list is to be sent to Base Management noting in the subject line: Amended List ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

Base Management will communicate gate opening times on the All staff email and also on the Base News and Information page of the Lavarack Intranet site.

Please inform your guests that they need to provide the name of the unit that they are attending the Dawn Service at and who their sponsor is.

I will brief this at the ANZAC Day Conference on Monday 15 Apr 19.
